After more than three decades building one of the most respected integrative clinics in the Red River Valley, Dr. Bekkum faced his own health crisis in mid-2025. A significant health event forced him to close his 30+ person clinic and confront the very conditions he had spent his career treating.
Rather than accept the conventional diagnosis and prognosis, he turned to his own protocols — the same Functional Physical Medicine and Functional Medicine approaches he had refined over 33 years of practice. The results were transformative.
That experience didn't just confirm his methods. It deepened his conviction. Integrix Health was born from that crucible — a virtual practice designed to deliver the same white-glove, root-cause care that Dr. Bekkum used to heal himself.
